How To Connect The Free Domain You Brought On Weebly Together With The Paid Or Upgrade Plan

After 2 days of frustration. I solve it on my own. And I know you're here because you're facing the same problem too.

So here's the easiest way to end your frustration.

I brought a 2 year paid plan and it comes with a free domain. 

But when I tried to publish my website, it's asking me to connect my domain.

But when I go to the domain https://www.weebly.com/home/domains I can't find there the new domain I selected before paying or upgrading to the paid plan.

What is can see there I have a free domain for 1 year worth $19.

I went to Setting and change the Site address, but after publishing I got this red message saying that my website is not properly set up.

I can't explain my frustration because this is the fifth website and paid plan I  subscribe from Weebly and I can attest that they made it so complicated no wonder they are receiving higher than usual number of people asking for support. I believe that this can also lead to some subscriber, asking for a refund because if they get frustrated they'll just go and think Weebly is not for them.

Well, for me, Weebly is the best. It's easy to make a beautiful website with them so I can't just leave and aside from that, this is already the 5th and I want all my websites together so it's easier to maintain them.

Ok, so I search the internet, the community, looking for answers, send an email to the support, but I'm getting even more frustrated. 

So tried one more time.

​I went to the domain https://www.weebly.com/home/domains  and I click REGISTER and to my surprise, the domain I chose the other day was now unavailable.

At first I thought maybe it's unavailable now because I already chose it during the registration and maybe weebly reserved it for me?

But that wasn't the case. It's definitely unavailable and I can't purchase it. 

So I went again to the domain and register a new name for my website. Instead of continuous name, I put a dash in the middle.

After I register a new name, I go back again to the settings and change the site address and then when I publish it, it went smoothly and now it's a live website. 

After registering my new domain, by the way its really free, I didn't pay any additional, I go back to the settings and I click change.

CONNECT, not transfer since I brought this domain on weebly. Its a free domain when I subcribe or upgrade to a paid plan.

I enter the domain name which is forsage-ninja.com and then I click connect.

Again, this is only applicable when you purchase your domain from weebly.
